W/75 and S2S! duke it out as KL opens
Massive fights ensue as both vie for supremacy!

Earlier today, the gates to King’s Land in region #C12087 burst open, and all major alliances involved came out in full force. Leading the charge for the northern alliance, K1875 swiftly secured their pass, and currently maintains a slight momentum advantage. Alongside them, the concerted efforts of Kingdoms 2268 and 1166 are notably evident on the western front, with an overwhelming onslaught leaving a trail of burning and repairing flags in their wake.
Recall the strategic maneuver discussed in our previous article regarding the fort drop by W/75? It has come to light that this move was part of a broader strategy orchestrated by 1875 and its allies in preparation for the opening of King’s Land. As depicted below, the coordinated placement of forts by 1875, 2268, and 1166 positioned them strategically opposite to their starting positions upon the unveiling of King’s Land.

This tactical adjustment facilitated 1875's direct engagement with 2429 instead of its smaller allies, while 2268 and 1166 confronted the smaller kingdoms affiliated with 2429 on the western periphery of King’s Land. This decision turned out remarkably well for the northern allies, particularly considering the Imperium status of Kingdom 2268, which granted them an advantageous edge against the smaller allies of 2429. The ensuing developments, occurring just a few hours after the pass openings, are depicted below.

Capitalizing on their early seizure of the pass, 1875 swiftly established a dominant position within King’s Land, effectively linking their W/75 fort situated on the eastern perimeter of the zone, as illustrated above. Before this zone, 2429 had yet to face the full brunt of 1875's might in this KvK, and while the ensuing clash teetered on a knife’s edge, the scales narrowly tipped in favor of 1875. The parity between these two kingdoms is remarkable.

As of the time of this article, the conflict has raged on for five hours, with intense skirmishes unfolding just east of the Ziggurat between 2429 and 1875. Apocalypse Gaming, a member of S2S!, has provided live coverage of the conflict, offering viewers a firsthand glimpse into the intensity of the battles. The sheer magnitude of troops on the battlefield has caused him to have to restart multiple times, something many veteran RoK players have undoubtedly experienced.
On the western front, 2268 and 1166 persist in their relentless assault, igniting multiple enemy flags as their adversaries from 1903, 2074, and 2375 struggle to mount a coherent defense against the superior field presence of these two formidable alliances, particularly 2268. Should the current pace of fighting persist, the expulsion of these three kingdoms from King’s Land appears imminent, potentially within a matter of days if not hours.
